Item Details and Description

Fabric History/Pedigree: 1930s-50s fabric derived from a deadstock roll of kimono silk; (Deadstock means old inventory which is like new but has been in storage, never been used).

Fabric Description:  medium-weight solid dark purple silk fabric,  with interwoven patterns of large open fans; some of the fans are brocaded or thicker weave; Background color is dark-puprple but the accented f an lines (as brocade) have sheen, otherwise none; (Please view closeups); only slight drape.
